England's World Cup injury curse continues

What is it with England and injuries? In the run up to every major tournament at least one big name manages to crock themselves in a dramatic fashion and this time around it has been no different.

It started fairly early when David Beckham, admittedly something of a doubt for the final squad anyway, snapped his achilles tendon while playing for Milan.
