I'm guessing, given David Beckham's injuries and lack of playing time in MLS, that $250 million in potential earnings mentioned when he signed for the Galaxy over the life of his five-year contract is no longer a valid estimate (if it ever was), although what's $10 million or so off when you're talking money like this.
