NEWS: Leigh man jailed for 10 years for fraud


A man from Leigh on Sea has pleaded guilty to a massive multi-million pound fraud involving a pyramid scheme and falsely using the name of the Salvation Army and Credit Suisse to his advantage.

Grahame Whitehead, 47, from Forest View Drive, in Leigh, pleaded guilty to 49 charges of fraud and deception at Chelmsford Crown Court, which total in excess of £12 million.
