Liverpool FC: Christian Purslow Is At Anfield ‘To Sell The Club, Not Run It’
According to a Liverpool MP, Liverpool FC managing director Christian Purslow has stated on three
separate occasions that he "is there to sell the club, not to run it."
Walton MP Peter Kilfoyle was speaking in an interview with the Liverpool Echo. He covered a wide
range of subjects, and was heavily critical of the club's owners, Tom Hicks and George Gillett, but
his claims about Purslow's role are the most intriguing.
