Monday Kickoff: Hull fires Brown, Beckham heads for surgery and more




Hull City fired head coach Phil Brown on Monday, leaving assistant coaches Brian Horton and Steve Parkin in charge of the club until a permanent replacement could be secured.

Jozy Altidore's squad currently sits in 19th place in the Premier League and is in real danger of being relegated as the Tigers sit what amounts to four points away from the drop zone due to a league-worst goal difference.
