NEWS: Shoebury's East Beach 'now safer'
It was once a focus for a range of anti-social behaviour, but leading Conservatives in Southend
claim Shoebury's East Beach is now a safe and much quieter place for local residents to enjoy.
For years, locals used to complain to police about teenagers using the large grass area to
congregate, play loud music and perform ‘doughnuts' in their cars.
