Landon Donovan: The Miss of the Season?
Everton lost 2-1 to Tottenham this past weekend despite absolutely dominating play in the second
half. On loan US Men's National Team star Landon Donovan missed a wide open goal (the sitter of the
season) late in the second half.
Donovan has since apologized to his teammates. After an adrenaline-fueled first 4 weeks in England
playing out of his skin, Donovan has come to back earth in his last few outings and is set to
return to the US soon.
