U.S. wins without Perkins, Pontius
The U.S. Men's National Team squeaked out a 2-1 win over El Salvador in Tampa, FL last night as Chivas USA's Sacha Kljestan scored the game-winner in extra time. D.C. United's two U.S. camp participants, goalkeeper Troy Perkins and M/F Chris Pontius, did not see the field in the win, as Perkins was on the bench backing up Nick Rimando and Pontius traveled, but did not make the gameday roster.
