Guingamp conceded a goal at the end of each half to record their first loss in 3 league games against Ligue 2 leaders Caen.
Caen were firm favorites for the game but it was no easy ride for the club from Normandy as EAG made sure Caen had to work for their points.
Guingamp had first half chances for Gilmar and Scarpelli but it was Caen who snatched the first goal of the game in the 40th minute when Steeven Langil put the ball into the Guingamp net (1-0, 40 mins).
