Petition to wind up SUFC to be heard Wednesday
UPDATED:
A petition to wind up Southend United will be heard at the Royal Courts of Justice (High
Court) in London on Wednesday (10th).
The HMRC claims the Blues still owe them money, despite paying off £2.135 million in tax
back in November.
Chairman Ron Martin disputes the latest claim, and believes the taxman actually owes the
Blues, due to an overpayment.
