Liverpool Sign Prolific Striker On Free Transfer

Liverpool have agreed to sign Serbian striker Milan Jovanovic from Standard Liege. The Belgian club's star forward, 28, is out of contract at the end of the season and is reported to have agreed a three-year contract with Liverpool, having already turned down Everton and then revealed reservations that he wouldn't figure in Rafa Benitez's first team.
