Rio Ferdinand banned for 3, wait 4 games
Manchester United's defender, Rio Ferdinand, was suspended for 3 matches due to violent conduct. But after being found guilty for purposely striking Craig Fagan during United's 4-0 win over Hull City he was then banned for 4. He was still able to play in the Carling Cup Final during an appeal.
