Jacob leaves Marian to start Tech program
Michelle Jacob (Neenah/UW-Stevens Point) was named the first women's soccer coach at NCAA Division II Michigan Tech on Wednesday, taking on the task of building a program after three years at Marian University in Fond du Lac.
Jacob, who also was an assistant coach at UW-Stevens Point, led the Division III Sabres to a 32-24-1 record after inheriting a team that went 4-12-1 in 2006.
