Thai Port went into the game firmly focused on stepping up the intensity of their play. Maybe they took the message too literally! In the 2nd minute of the game, a Port defender bundled over a Tampines player inside the box, and the ref pointed to the spot. The Tampines penalty taker made no mistake, and put the Singaporeans 1-0 up.
