Julio Martinez Loaned To Chicago Fire

The Chicago Fire have acquired Salvadoran international midfielder Julio Martinez on loan from Mexican second-division side Club Leon, the team announced this afternoon. He will be added to the Fire's roster upon receipt of his International Transfer Certificate.

"Martinez is an exciting player who's known for his middle-range shooting and ability to score goals and I think he'll make an excellent addition to our roster.
