Life on the road
Indonesia is a big country of course but often people never really realise that till they get
here.
Pelita Jaya coach Fandi Ahmad told me recently about travelling to PSSB Bireuen and it taking 10
hours from the airport in Medan. So that is on top of a two hour flight!
Persema midfielder, and temporary defender, Robbie Gaspar, last week told me about a gruelling road
trip back from Jepara to Malang which also took 10 hours along some of Java's finest road.
