Angola and Algeria advance to quarters
Group A was decided on Monday as Angola and Algeria punched their tickets into the next round as they both shared honors in their final group match. This left Mali out despite their impressive win against Malawi 3-1. They would be gone because of the first tiebreaker being head-to-head matchups- that topic became a big discussion point afterwards.
