A number of newspapers report this morning that Spurs are in talks with Palermo central defender Simon Kjaer .
Palermo sports director Walter Sabatini flew into London on Friday for talks with Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp who is keen for cover in central defence as Ledley King and Jonathan Woodgate have struggled with injury all season.
