'Trader Mo' Quiet Thus Far, Deal Coming?
Mo Johnston isn't accustomed to sitting still in the days leading up to the annual MLS SuperDraft. Indeed, his tendency to move players and draft picks around like chess pieces has earned Johnston the nickname ‘Trader Mo' from some around the league. With the club having just two picks in this year's draft (and none in the first round), it was expected that the club would wheel and deal in an effort to move up the list.
