The Boxing Day features in England didn't go the way of the Americans, with only Jonathan Spector's West Ham United winning. Tim Howard was in goal for Everton, who drew 1-1 against Sunderland. Clint Dempsey went the full-ninety with Fulham drawing 0-0 with Spurs. Dempsey hit the crossbar from a freekick and had another opportunity that almost broke the deadlock.
