Europa League knockouts drawn
The Europa League rounds of 32 and 16 were drawn this afternoon, with Clint Dempsey and Fulham staring directly into a tie against UEFA Cup holders Shakhtar Donetsk and Tim Howard's Everton squared off against Sporting Lisbon.As you may remember, I wildly predicted that an American would appear in the first Europa League final before the season began.
