Akron Coach Caleb Porter Turns Down DC United – Inks New Contract with Zips
It was reported yesterday by Ives Galarcep that the University of Akron's 35 year old head soccer coach Caleb Porter turned down Major League Soccer's DC United's offer to be their head coach. Instead the 35 year old Porter inked a new contract with the Zips. Akron's Athletic Director Tom Wistrcill announced Tuesday that Porter had signed a new contract for 5 more years keeping him in Ohio until the 2014 season.
