A groundbreaking new initiative is being set up to encourage people living in Southend and surrounding areas to buy goods and use services on their doorstep, instead of travelling out of the borough.

The 'Use It or Lose It' campaign is being spearheaded by Nigel Havens - the Managing Director of Havens department store on Hamlet Court Road in Westcliff.
