Video of the Week: Italian Championship of footballer’s driving speeds
Towards the end of last season, Italian satirical news program Striscia la Notizia had a segment called "Campionato Italiano Velocità Calciatori" (or the Italian Championship of footballer's driving speeds). In this segment, two comedians (Cristiano Militello and Valerio Staffelli), went to the training grounds of 7 Serie A clubs and waited for various players to drive away in their nice cars commenting it like a Formula 1 race, and then with a radar gun saw how fast they were going and how many kilometers over the speed limit they went, making it into a competition of sorts to see who was the most reckless Serie A driver.
