Lamps not down with placenta remedy

After Robin van Persie injured his ankle in an international friendly last week and made headlines by seeking a quick fix treatment with a Serbian doctor who uses horse placenta to reduce recovery time, it quickly became all the rage. Liverpool's Yossi Benayoun, Glen Johnson, Albert Riera, and Fabio Aurelio all went along for treatment of their own injuries, as did Chelsea's Frank Lampard.
