Real Salt Lake walk away with MLS Cup
Burning two subs by the start of the second half, and going down a goal against the defensively stout Galaxy was not that game plan plotted prior to the MLS Cup by Jason Kreis and the Real Salt Lake coaching staff. Losing your best offensive player through injury wasn't part of the plan. However, thanks to a gritty and determined effort, RSL hoisted the trophy last night on penalties, besting the Galaxy 5-4 after 120 minutes.
