Fernando Torres is losing his fight to be fit for next week's Merseyside derby.
Liverpool's Spanish striker is sidelined by a groin injury since playing through the pain barrier
in the Champions League draw with Lyon at the start of the month. He returned to training last week
and was expected to return this week.
