The two times Curt Onalfo and Richie Williams were together in a playing capacity, they managed to take home the 1989 NCAA College Soccer National Championship at the University of Virginia and ten years later, the 1999 MLS Cup with DC United. They know each other, and have been proven winners stateside in the past.
