American Abroad Update: Goals And Yellows
First Star: Clint Dempsey got the third of Fulham's three goals in their 3-1 win over Liverpool. Bobby Zamora had Fulham up in the 24th-minute, but Fernando Torres answered back three minutes from halftime. In the second, Erik Nevland put Fulham back up in the 73rd-minute. Liverpool went down a man in the 79th when Philipp Degen was sent off, and ended up with nine after Jamie Carragher followed with an 82nd-minute red card.
