Ireland squad named for crucial play-off games with France
Ireland manager Giovanni Trapattoni has left Steve Finnan, Steven Reid, Andy Reid and
Clinton Morrison out of his squad to face France in their World Cup 2010 qualifying play-off.
It had been rumoured that Finnan would be included to address issues with cover in
defence.
