News tonight that Steven Gerrard may need surgery on his troublesome groin injury will be meet with
dismay by Liverpool football club and its fans.Gerrard, after all, got injured playing for England
against the Ukraine when England had already qualified for next year's World Cup so what was he
doing playing in that match in the first place?
