Rapids eliminated from playoffs
Jeff Larentowicz scored his first goal of 2009 in the last game of the regular season as the New England Revolution beat the team with the most points in the league, Columbus, on Sunday, eliminating the Colorado Rapids from Major League Soccer's playoffs.
The Rapids lost 3-0 on Saturday at Real Salt Lake.
