Afternoon Ticker: Keller plans to stay put, Alves sidelined and more

Seattle Sounders FC goalkeeper Kasey Keller has enjoyed a strong first year in MLS, and the 39-year-old is planning to stick around for a few more seasons.
Keller told reporters Tuesday he would be surprised if he was not around for the start of the 2011 season, when a Pacific Northwest rivalry is expected to begin as expansion teams Portland and Vancouver join MLS.
