DaMarcus Beasley was on the bench for Rangers' bizarre 4-1 Champions League loss at home against Unirea Urziceni. The visitors gifted Rangers an own-goal in the second minute, and Rangers returned the favor twice. With Unirea Urziceni already up a goal from Marius Bilasco in the 32nd-minute, Kyle Lafferty put the ball in the back of his own net in the 49th and Lee McCulloch followed ten minutes later.
