Bornstein: the unlikely hero

So in these last two World Cup qualifiers, USMNT fans were raving about Conor Casey (Saturday) and Jonathan Bornstein (Wednesday)?

Yeesh. Quite the odd couple.

And I'm not sure hero is the right word? The 2-2 draw arguably didn't mean much, but winning the group is cool. Though it would have been nice to beat Costa Rica as a tribute to Charlie Davies, not scramble to salvage a point at home.
