Onyewu Out With Knee Injury
US National Team and Milan defender Oguchi Onyewu tore his torn left patellar tendon during the United States' 2-2 draw with Costa Rica on Wednesday. The normal recovery time is three-to-four months. The injury occurred when Onyewu fell ackwardly on his knee in the 83rd minute. He immediately motioned for the trainers along with the Costa Rican players close to him.
