GERARD OUT FOR SEVEN DAYS!
Steven Gerrard finally returned to Melwood after injuring his groin with England last Saturday and
after a scan, it was revealed he has an abductor strain to his groin. Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez
is furious that the player stayed on with the England set-up until as late as Tuesday, even trying
to play in a practise game only to aggravate the injury further.
