I've confirmed with the 'Nats that forward Charlie Davies was in a D.C.-area one-car accident at 3.15 AM this morning. He is in surgery, but he is in stable condition.We don't have all the details yet, but the car was literally ripped in half, leaving one person dead and two in serious condition.
