Mexico, US advance to South Africa
Mexico clobbers El Salvador 4-1, in front of a sellout crowd at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City. Our friend Blanco "technically" scored two of them, although he was awarded just one.
The US surprised everyone including Coach Bradley by leading Honduras and closing it down 3-2.
