Chonburi punished for fan violence

Chonburi FC have been ordered to play their final home game of the season at a neutral ground after crowd trouble in the Thai Premier League this week.

Second-placed Chonburi drew 2-2 with relegation strugglers Chula United at Sirindhorn stadium on Wednesday.

Their fans were furious that referee Chaovalit Sananwai disallowed a goal for off-side, a move that dented Chonburi's chance of winning the title.
