Emmanuel Adebayor, “When I heard the fans singing and insulting my parents, I couldn’t stand it”

It's been almost a month since Emmanuel Adebayor and Arsenal were face to face at Manchester in Mark Hughes' controversial 4-2 win over Arsene Wenger's side.

Speaking to the Evening Standard, ex-Gunner Emmanuel Adebayor revealed insults against his parents were addressed against him, something which he simply "could not stand".
