Brazil is through to the quarter-finals of the FIFA Under-20 World Cup 2009 following their 3-1 win over Uruguay earlier today. Alan Kardec notched the opener for Brazil in the 22nd minute before Man of the Match Alex Teixeira scored a brace for the young Selecção with goals in the 24th and 31st minutes.
