Dempsey to miss Honduras game
USA striker Clint Dempsey will miss the U.S.'s huge World Cup qualifier at Honduras on Saturday. Dempsey sprained his shoulder during Fulham's 2-2 draw with West Ham on Saturday and underwent an M.R.I. exam yesterday which showed the extent of the injury.
The injury cannot be that serious as the US did not replace Dempsey on the roster for Saturday's match, which would indicate that Bob Bradley thinks he will be ready for the game against Costa Rica October 14 in Washington, D.
