In less than 12 months, Russian midfielder Andrey Arshavin became a favourite amongst Arsenal supporters with the 28-year old a key in Arsenal's last season's quest for a Champions League spot.
Speaking about Arshavin, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger highlighted the intelligence of the player and the something extra he brings to the squad.
