Rapids Lose Two
Days after needing a last gasp equalizer to draw with San Jose, the Colorado Rapids have announced two of their midfielders are done for the season. Jacob Petersen will need surgery to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament suffered in Wednesday's game. Jamie Smith's recovery from surgery on his left knee will not be in time to factor in 2009.
