Arsene Wenger on Thomas Vermaelen, “You can question his height, but not his leap”
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger revealed the first time he showed interest in Thomas Vermaelen was when Ajax faced Arsenal in the 2007 Amsterdam Tournament.
On that particular day and on the Belgian International, the Frenchman said:
I loved that. We watched him from that moment on.
