In the first half of Saturday's friendly between the Netherlands and Japan, Inter newboy Wesley Sneijder made an ugly two-footed tackle on Japan's Makoto Hasebe that brought the visibly annoyed referee to swipe the ball out of his hands and show him a yellow card.
In the second half, the football gods issued their cosmic revenge as Sneijder got tangled up with an outstretched defender upon taking a shot minutes after scoring.
