WCQ: El Salvador 1 - USA 2
The United States kept pace in CONCACAF Qualifying on Saturday night, beating El Salvador 2-1 in Sandy, Utah. The US trailed when Rodolfo Zelaya scored in the 32nd minute. Regrouping, the United States began to push and it paid off when Clint Dempsey headed in a Landon Donovan free kick in the 41st. Jozy Altidore made it 2-1 with a header of his own from a Donovan service in first-half stoppage time.
