Minnesota State gets revenge against Roadrunners
Freshman forward Brittany Henry and junior Laura Leber scored as the Minnesota State women's soccer team knocked off Metropolitan State College 2-1 on Friday in Denver.
The Mavericks avenged a 1-0 loss to Metro State that ended their season last year in the NCAA tournament.
Henry broke a scoreless tie in the 51st minute with an assist from senior Abby Maxson.
