Southend United suffered their first defeat of the season as they went down 3-1 to Premier League
side Hull City at the K C Stadium.
The home side took the lead through Tom Cairney on 7 minutes. They doubled their advantage with
three minutes of the first half remaining when Jozy Altidore scored a cracking debut goal.
